CHEESE HAMBURGER 
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
1 2/3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
pinch of black pepper
4 slices buttered toast
4 slices Swiss or Cheddar cheese
4 slices cooked bacon
4 slices onion
4 slices tomato
4 cooked hamburgers

In a medium saucepan, melt butter and stir in flour. Remove from heat; slowly add milk, swirling pan to mi. Stir constantly over medium heat until mixture has thickened. Add Cheddar cheese, Worcestershire, salt and pepper. Stir until cheese melts.

Layer cheese, hamburger, bacon, onion and tomato on buttered toast. Pour hot cheese sauce over sandwich.

Makes 4 sandwiches.
