1 stick melted butter
1 box light brown sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Beat eggs until light and foamy. Add melted butter, brown sugar, flour, vanilla and nuts. Bake in lightly greased 13"x9"x2" pan in preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. While baking, cookies have a fluffy appearance; when removed from oven they will fall slightly. The crumb should be very moist in texture. Cool completely before cutting into squares.

Makes about 40 (1"x2") bars.
