JANES PEAR SUPREME 
2 c. chopped fresh pears
1 c. canned, crushed pineapple
1/2 c. maraschino cherries (red plus juice)
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 pkg. MCP dry pectin
5 1/2 c. sugar

Wash, core and grind pears. Combine fruit in large pan. Add juice from cherries, lemon juice and pectin. Stir 1 minute, then bring to boil, stirring while bringing to boil. Then add sugar; bring to rolling boil. Boil 4 minutes, skim and pour into sterilized jars and seal.

This is great for Holiday's as well as other occasions!!
