SLIM JANE SALAD | |
1 c. fresh bean sprouts 1 tbsp. oil 1 tsp. sugar 1/2 c. thinly sliced celery 1/2 c. thinly sliced pared cucumber 1 tbsp. lemon juice 1 tsp. soy sauce 1 med. banana, sliced 1/4 c. thinly sliced radishes 2 tbsp. sliced green onion Crisp bean sprouts in water for 5 minutes. Blend lemon juice, oil, soy sauce and sugar together. Mix with sliced banana. Drain bean sprouts well and toss with banana mixture. Toss in remaining ingredients and serve immediately. Yield: 2 servings - 1 serving = 160 calories. |
