CREAM OF BROCCOLI AND CHEESE SOUP | |
3 cups whole milk 1 large head of broccoli 1 small head of cauliflower (or 3 diced potatoes) 2 1/2 cup cheddar cheese 1 jar (300ml) Olivieri 4 cheese sauce 2 carrots 1/2 can of mushroom soup 1/8 tsp Worcestershire sauce salt and pepper to taste In a large pot combine milk, cheese, sauce and soup; let simmer over low-medium heat. Cut broccoli into bite size pieces, shred carrots and mince cauliflower. When the cheese has melted, add the broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Stir; allow to simmer for 2-4 hours, stirring occasionally. For best results cool and refrigerate overnight. Heat and serve. Makes up to 6 servings. Serve with crackers or bread. Submitted by: J.
