FRENCH BREAKFAST PUFFS 
1/3 c. soft butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. melted butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. sugar

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 12 muffin cups. Mix thoroughly butter, sugar and egg. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt and nutmeg. Add alternately with milk.

Fill muffin cups 2/3 full. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden. Immediately roll in melted butter, then in the mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Serve hot or warm. 12 servings.
