ENGLISH DEVILED BEEF 
2-3 lbs. boneless beef chuck steak, cubed
1/8 c. salad oil
1 c. chopped onions
3/4 c. water
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. horseradish
1/2 tbsp. bottled gravy sauce
1 tbsp. hot pepper sauce
Salt (to taste)

Heat oil and cook meat until well browned. Add remaining ingredients and heat to boiling. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. Stir occasionally.

Easy and delicious! I think the most tedious part of the recipe is cutting up the meat into cubes and then browning. This is a very old, tried and true recipe. (3 generations of my family have been making this recipe.) Only change is add 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce. Also, you will brown the meat in batches; removing each batch to a bowl until all has been browned and then putting it all back in the dutch oven. Making twice as much (doubling the recipe) comes out great! This recipe is so simple yet bursting with flavor.
