ENGLISH BEEF POT PIE 
2 lb. round steak, cut 1 inch cubes
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 med. carrots, sliced
3 med. potatoes, cubed
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 lg. can whole tomatoes

BISCUIT TOPPING:

2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. milk

Place steak cubes in Dutch oven. Combine salt, flour and pepper. Toss with steak until coated. Stir in remaining ingredients except biscuit topping. Cover and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Cover meat mixture with biscuit topping. Bake until browned, 20 to 25 minutes.

Biscuit Topping: Mix dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Add milk. Mix well. Roll out to cover baking dish.

Really good! Though I have to admit I substituted a packet of onion soup mix for the onion.
