HAMBURGER HASH 
1 lb. ground beef
Oil
4 c. frozen Southern style hash brown potatoes
2 med. onions, chopped
1 med. green pepper, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper

In large skillet, slowly brown beef. With slotted spoon, remove beef, set aside. Add enough oil to drippings in skillet to make 2-3 teaspoons. Add potatoes, onions and green peppers. Cook until onions and potatoes are almost tender. Stir in meat, salt, pepper and sugar. Heat until vegetables are tender.
