1 box chocolate cake mix
1 (8 oz.) pkg. soften cream cheese
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits, miniature

Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Mix cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla together. Fold in chocolate bits. Fill cupcake papers 2/3 with cake batter. Drop 1 rounded teaspoon of filling into cupcake batter.

Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes. (Cake batter rises up and covers filling.) Ice with white icing. Top with red cherry with stem or mint green drop leaf. Try different cake and filling combinations.
