HUNGARIAN GOULASH | |
2 lbs. beef 1/4 c. butter or fat 2 sliced onions 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/2 tsp. paprika 4 med. diced potatoes 1 c. stew tomatoes Cut meat into small pieces. Melt fat, add meat, onions. Saute until brown. Add spices, tomatoes. Simmer 30 minutes. Add potatoes and more tomatoes or water if necessary. Cook 30 more minutes. If desired add 1 cup of cream instead of extra tomatoes. |
