CHOCOLATE DIPPED PRETZEL RODS 
1 pkg. pretzel rods
1 (16 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Optional Toppings:

sprinkles
colored sugar
mini M&M candies
chopped nuts
shredded coconut
white chocolate
crushed Oreo cookies

Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. Melt chocolate chips in the top of a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl for 30 seconds at a time, stirring between heatings, until fully melted.

Immediately dip rods 1/2 to 3/4 deep into chocolate. Shake off excess and lay rods on cookie sheet.

While chocolate is wet scatter on toppings. For a two tone effect, melt white chocolate, pour into a Ziploc bag, snip corner of bag and drizzle chocolate over rods.

Chill or freeze until set. Store loosely covered in a cool, dry place.
