RAISED CINNAMON BRAN PUFFS 
2 c. scalded milk
2 c. whole bran cereal
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 yeast cake
2 eggs, beaten
5 1/2 c. sifted flour

Pour 1 1/2 cups hot milk over shortening, sugar, bran and sugar; stir until melted. Cool to lukewarm.

Cool 1/2 cup hot milk; add yeast. Add to bran; add eggs, flour, and mix. Knead until smooth. Form into a ball and place in greased pan. Grease top and let rise, then punch down. Let rise again and form into balls. Bake at 350 degrees.

SUGAR MIXTURE:

1 1/2 c. sugar
4 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. melted butter

While rolls are warm, dip rolls in butter, then roll in sugar and cinnamon mixture.
