BEEFSTEAK POT PIE 
2 lbs. stewing beef
2 med. onions, sliced
4 tsp. shortening
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. parsley, chopped
2 c. raw potatoes, diced
2 tbsp. flour

Cut steak in pieces and saute with onions, in 2 tablespoons shortening until brown. Put in kettle and add salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and parsley. Add boiling water to cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Add potatoes and cook for 45 minutes longer. Blend 2 tablespoons shortening and flour, add a little of the meat mixture and return to kettle and cook until thickened. 6 servings.
