PORK CACCIATORE | |
4-6 pork chops 1 jar Prego (mushroom and onion) spaghetti sauce 1/2 c. brown sugar 1 lg. onion, sliced 1 green pepper Salt Pepper Cooking oil Flour Salt, pepper and flour pork chops. Brown in cooking oil. Place browned pork chops in baking dish (12x6). Mix Prego and brown sugar in separate bowl (mix well). Place one ring of onion on top of each pork chop. Pour Prego sauce mixture over pork chops. Cover pan with aluminum foil. Bake at 400 degrees for 1 hour. Top each pork chop with green pepper ring before serving (optional). Serve with rice. |
