PORK CHOPS CACCIATORE 
6 pork chops about 3/4 inch thick
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 onion, sliced
1 green pepper, sliced
1 env. spaghetti sauce mix
1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes
1 tbsp. brown sugar

In skillet, brown pork chops on both sides. Season with salt and pepper. Place in 11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inch baking dish. Top each chop with sliced onion. Combine spaghetti sauce mix, tomatoes and brown sugar. Pour over chops; cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover; top each chop with green pepper. Bake 15 minutes more. Serves 6.

If preferred, onion and green pepper may be diced instead of sliced.
