Cherry Jello Dessert - Recipe

CHERRY JELLO DESSERT

2 (3 oz.) pkgs. cherry jello
2 c. boiling water
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 can cherry pie filling

Dissolve jello in boiling water in 9x13 pan. After completely dissolved, add pineapple with juice and cherry pie filling. Mix well; chill.

TOPPING:

8 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. sour cream
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla and spread on set jello.

Fantastic! Used lg jello instead of 2 sm. Added 1/2 c chopped nuts to jello & 1/c chopped nuts to topping.
Guests loved! Makes a lot. Next time will put into a lg cake dish instead of lg bowl. Could be used as a dessert.
