YELLOW CAKE 
2-1/2 c. Dainty biscuit flour
1/2 c. veg. oil
1-1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
3 eggs

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Sift self-rising flour and sugar into mixing bowl; add oil and 1/3 cup milk and mix to blend. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed on electric mixer or 300 strokes by hand. Add remaining milk. Add vanilla and whole eggs and blend. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed on electric mixer or 300 strokes by hand. Pour batter in (2) 8 x 1-1/2 inch greased and floured pans. Bake 25 to 35 minutes until center springs back by finger touch. Put on your favorite frosting.
