KOREAN BARBEQUED BEEF | |
1 lb. lean beef 1 tbsp. sugar 4 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tbsp. corn oil 1 tsp. ground sesame seed (optional) 4 tsp. green onions, chopped 1/2 tsp. garlic 1/2 tsp. black pepper Cut beef into thin cross-grain slices, approximately 3 inches square. Combine with sugar, soy sauce, oil, sesame seed, onion, garlic powder, and pepper. Stir well. Let stand at least 15 minutes (up to an hour is best). Best grilled over charcoal fire, but may be oven broiled or pan fried also. Serve hot with rice and vegetable side dishes. Serves 4. |
