APPLE COFFEE CAKE 
1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
2-4 apples, sliced thin
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. brown sugar
Melted butter

Split bread dough in half. Roll out one half. Brush on melted butter in center. Place half the apples on butter. In separate bowl combine brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle half this mixture on top of apples. Braid dough over apple filling by cutting edges of dough into even strips. Cover with damp cloth and let rise approximately 1 hour.

TOPPING:

4 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. butter

Combine ingredients for topping. Sprinkle half on coffee cake. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Repeat for 2nd loaf.
