1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt (a little more if you use Crisco)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. mace
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. chopped apples
2 c. chopped nut meats

Mix together and pour into a bundt cake pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
