OATIE PANCAKES 
2 oz. plain flour
Pinch of salt
1 size 2 egg
1/2 oz. caster sugar
2 oz. porridge oats
1/2 pt. milk

Sift flour and salt together. In a separate bowl beat together the egg and sugar then add the oats, flour and milk and mix thoroughly. Fry the pancakes in the usual way, keeping them as thin as possible. Serve hot with golden syrup. Yield: 4 portions.
