POUND CAKE COOKIES 
3 sticks butter
1 1/4 c. sugar
3 egg yolks
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
Pecan halves

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg yolks. Add flour a little at a time. Add flavoring. Then roll dough into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press a pecan half into each cookie. Bake at 300 degrees until brown. Suitable for freezing.
