BAKED CARROTS 
1 lb. carrots
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
2 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. butter

Peel carrots, leaving whole or cut into pieces and put into a greased 1 quart casserole. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; add water and dot with butter. Bake, covered, in a 350 degree oven about 60 minutes. Yield: 4-5 servings.
