CRUMB COFFEE CAKE 
1 box Duncan Hines butter cake mix
4 eggs
2/3 c. milk
2/3 c. oil

CRUMBS:

4 c. flour
2/3 c. white sugar
2/3 c. brown sugar
3 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla
3 sticks melted and cooled butter

Grease and flour an 11 x 15 inch pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix cake mix, eggs, milk and oil in bowl. Blend for 4 minutes.

Pour in pan and bake for 20 minutes. Take out of oven and cool for 10 minutes. After basic cake cools for 10 minutes, put crumbs onto top of cake and put back in oven for another 20 minutes. Remove from oven, cool, then sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.

Got this years ago from a coworker Two tips:
1. Disregard cake box instructions.
2. Use 2 sticks margarine and 1 stick butter, softened. Mix with hands and you will feel when it is ready to crumble on top.

I LOVE this recipe! I serve it to any company we might get. By using a cookie sheet with sides, I can divide the finished cake into quarters. I freeze what I don't need right away so there is always coffee cake in the freezer. I add the confectioners' sugar when I'm going to serve it.

Best coffee cake ever!! Big hit with the family. I reduce sugar to 1/2 cup and brown sugar to 1 cup so not too sweet. I even added blueberries when I take cake out to cool before adding topping. Delish!
