SAVORY RICE 
1/4 c. butter
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
2 1/2 c. chicken broth or use 3 bouillon cubes dissolved in 2 1/4 c. water
3/4 tsp. salt
2 1/4 c. Minute rice

Melt butter in large skillet. Add onions and mushrooms. Cook and stir until onions are lightly browned. Add broth and salt. Bring to boil. Stir in rice; cover. Remove from heat and let stand 5 minutes. Serve with roast beef, hamburger, chicken, broiled fish, pork chops. Very good with meatloaf.
