Separate whites and yolks of 4 eggs. Beat egg whites until stiff. In another bowl place egg yolks and gradually add 3 cups white sugar. Fold in egg white to yolk mixture. Add 2 tablespoons vanilla, 1 quart whipping cream and 1 1/2 quarts whole milk. Freeze. Makes 1 gallon.
