YUMMY HOMEMADE ICE CREAM 
2 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. half and half
2 tsp. vanilla

Yield: 1 quart. 1 1/2 X recipe yields about 1 1/2 quarts. (3 eggs, 3/4 cup sugar, 3 cup half and half and 3 teaspoons (1 tablespoon) vanilla.)

Beat eggs with sugar until fluffy. Stir in half and half and vanilla. Freeze. If freezing in pans, stir every 30 minutes or so as ice cream freezes on edges. Stir into center of pan. (This will not be as creamy as using an ice cream maker.)

VARIATIONS:

1. 1/3 cup chocolate bits = Chocolate Chip

2. 2-3 tablespoons maple syrup and 1/3 cup chopped nuts = Maple Nut

3. 1 teaspoon mint extract and 1/3 cup chocolate bits = Mint Chocolate Chip

4. 2-3 crushed Oreos = Cookie Crunch
