1 (#10) can pears - sliced or diced Drain. Place in greased cake pan. Sprinkle over pears: 2/3 c. sugar 1 tbsp. cinnamon Nuts or 1/2 c. coconut, if desired Combine and beat until smooth: 3 eggs 2 2/3 c. + 1 tbsp. sugar 3 1/4 c. flour 2 c. butter Pour into cake pan over pears. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. Turn oven up to 450 degrees. Bake until brown - 15 minutes. Yield: 25 servings. | |
