GERMAN CUCUMBER SALAD | |
6 peeled cucumbers 3 heaping spoonfuls dairy sour cream salt and pepper mandoline or sharp knife cans (for weights) plate Peel each cucumber. Thinly slice each cucumber, salt each layer of cucumbers. Put plate on top of cucumbers and put heavy cans on top of plate. Let stand for 1 hour. Drain til dripping. Mix in 3 heaping spoons of sour cream til sloppy. Season with pepper, to taste. Enjoy!
