FRITTERS (OYSTER) 
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. oil
1 egg

Drain oysters well. Mix dry ingredients. Add milk and oil. Fold in oysters. Drop by spoonful into hot oil. Cook until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Yield: 4.
