OPEN - FACED MUFFINBURGERS 
1 lb. ground round
1 egg, beaten
2 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 sm. onion, minced
4 English muffins, split in halves
4 tbsp. soft butter or mayonnaise

Mix first 7 ingredients well. Place muffin halves under broiler (4-5 inches from heat) for 30 seconds to 1 minute to firm surface.

Spread each muffin with butter. Cover each muffin half with meat mixture. Place under broiler for 5-7 minutes.

Can be topped with cheese and broiled until melted. Serves 4.
