OPEN FACE TORTE 
2 c. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 c. butter, softened

Mix together and pat in 9x13 inch pan. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees.

TOPPING:

2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1 c. confectioners sugar
2 cans cherry pie filling
2 pkgs. Dream Whip
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream the cream cheese and confectioners sugar together. Prepare 2 packages Dream Whip according to directions on package. Blend the whipped Dream Whip with cream cheese and sugar; pour into cooled crust. Gently spoon cherry pie filling over the top. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
