ONE - BOWL BROWNIES 
4 sqs. unsweetened chocolate
3/4 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. coarsely chopped nuts (optional)

Microwave chocolate and butter in large microwaveable bowl at high 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. For range top, melt chocolate and butter in 3 quart saucepan over very low heat. Stir constantly until just melted. Remove from heat. Stir sugar into melted chocolate until well blended. Stir in eggs and vanilla until completely mixed. Mix in flour until well blended. Stir in nuts. Spread in greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out almost clean (DO NOT OVERBAKE). Cool in pan; cut into squares. Makes 24 brownies.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
