BLOND BROWNIES 
3/4 c. flour (self-rising)
1/4 c. butter
1 c. package light brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Melt butter, remove from heat. Stir in sugar until well mixed. Beat in egg and vanilla until well blended. Stir in flour and then nuts. Spread in greased 8 x 8 x 2 inch pan. Bake in preheated 325 degree oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool and cut.
