GOLDEN BLONDE BROWNIES 
2 2/3 c. sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. butter
2 1/4 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch pan. Sift flour, baking powder, salt. In a large saucepan melt butter, stir in brown sugar. Cool 10 minutes. Then add eggs, one at a time. Beating well. Stir in flour mixture, nuts, chocolate chips; blend well. Spread in pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until center springs back. Makes 3 dozen.
