STEAMED CABBAGE 
3 strips bacon
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 med. bell pepper, chopped
5 c. shredded cabbage
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. Accent
Salt & pepper to taste

Fry bacon in large frying pan until crisp, then remove from pan. Add chopped onion and pepper to bacon fat. If there is not enough fat add 1 tablespoon butter. Saute for a few minutes then add cabbage and water. Cover and steam until cabbage is tender. Season with Accent, salt and pepper. Remove cabbage to serving dish and combine bacon on top.
