SUGAR-FREE SUMMERTIME STRAWBERRY
PIE
 
CRUST:

16 saltine crackers, crushed
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla

FILLING:

1 pt. strawberries, sliced
1 sm. carton whipping cream

Whip egg whites until stiff.

In separate bowl, mix rest of ingredients. Fold together. Put in buttered glass pie plate to form pie crust. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Filling: Whip cream until stiff. Mix in sliced berries. May heat to puree, if preferred. Put in chilled crust. Chill 2 hours.
