1 box Jello or Royal chocolate ready to cook pudding
1 tbsp. cocoa
1 tbsp. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix dry pudding mix with sugar and cocoa and cook as package directs. Beat egg thoroughly and mix with small amount of thin pudding mix and add to pudding. Stir constantly until pudding thickens. Add vanilla and cool slightly. Pour into baked pie shell and add whipped cream or meringue.
