A VERY DIFFERENT 3 BEAN SALAD | |
1 (10 or 15 oz.) can Del Monte French style green beans 1 (10 or 15 oz.) can Green Giant Shoe Peg corn (white) 1 (10 or 15 oz.) can LeSeuer tiny green peas 1/4 c. (4 oz. approx) pimientos 1 med. white onion, finely chopped 2 c. chopped celery 1 c. chopped green (bell) pepper 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. vinegar 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. oil Hat sugar, vinegar, salt and oil to a boil, let it cool and add onion, celery and bell pepper and marinate overnight. On the day that you are going to serve the salad, add the green beans, white corn, and tiny peas (well drained). Add the pimientos and mix well all ingredients. Chill before serving. Mix well before serving. |
