1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. nuts
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 c. cold coffee
2 c. chopped apples
1 c. raisins

Mix all ingredients together and bake at 350 degrees. For a 9x13 inch pan, mix a double recipe.
