1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
1 lg. can crushed pineapple with juice
2 c. sugar
1 sm. box vanilla pudding
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
2 c. milk
8 oz. Cool Whip
Bananas, coconut, cherries & nuts

Make cake according to package directions (except use milk instead of water). Boil pineapple and sugar in saucepan until sugar is dissolved. While cake is still hot, punch holes in cake and pour pineapple over cake. Cool.

Mix pudding, milk and cream cheese; pour over cooled cake. Add a layer of sliced bananas, then cover with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with coconut, cherries and nuts.
