BEST-EVER POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sweet milk
6 eggs
1 tsp. lemon extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream sugar, Crisco and milk; mix well. The more it is mixed, the better. Add eggs 1 at a time. Blend in flavorings. Add sifted flour and salt, a small amount at a time; mix well. Pour in greased and floured Bundt pan. Start in a cold oven and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
