HAMBURGER SOUP | |
2 lbs. hamburger meat 1 lg. onion, diced 1 stick butter Salt to taste 1 lg. can tomato juice 1 sm. can tomato paste 6 potatoes, cubed 1 bag frozen whole kernel corn 6 carrots, sliced 2 regular cans okra in tomato sauce Brown hamburger and onion in butter. Salt to taste. After browning hamburger meat, add a large can of tomato juice and small can of tomato paste. Then add cubed potatoes, corn, carrots and okra. Bring to a boil, then cook over medium heat for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Add water to thin if necessary. |
