HAMBURGER VEGETABLE LENTIL SOUP 
1 lb. hamburger
5 3/4 c. tomato juice
4 c. water
1 c. lentils, washed
1 c. diced carrots
1 tsp. green peppers
1 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf

Brown and drain hamburger. Bring liquids to a boil, add hamburger and other ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 1 hour.
