HAMBURGER SOUP 
3 lbs. hamburger, browned and grease drained
8 med. diced potatoes
3 c. diced onion
6 stalks diced celery
1 med. shredded cabbage
1 lg. pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
1 lg. can tomato juice
Salt and pepper
1/2 stick butter
4 beef bouillon cubes
1/4 c. alphabetical noodles
1/2 c. macaroni
1 lg. can red kidney beans, drained
1 lg. can tomatoes, crushed or chopped

Brown and drain grease from hamburger in separate pan. Use 6 to 8 quart pot. Pour tomato juice in this pan. Place potatoes, onions, celery and cabbage into juice. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to slow boil. Add hamburger, salt and pepper to taste, bouillon cubes and kidney beans. Boil slow for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Add frozen vegetables, alphabetical noodles, macaroni, tomatoes. Boil 15-20 minutes until tender. Add butter. Stir often. May need to add some water.
