CHERRY DELIGHT 
6 egg whites, beat until frothy
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
2 tsp. vanilla

Beat until stiff.

2 c. sugar
2 c. broken saltine crackers
3/4 c. chopped nuts

Fold ingredients into above mixture. Put in oblong greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Cool.

TOPPING:

1 (12 oz.) pkg. frozen whipped topping
1 can pie filling

Spread topping over cooled cake. Add pie filling evenly over topping. Chill. Serves 8.
