ITALIAN SAUSAGE 
2 lbs. Italian sausage, cut into links
1 can mushrooms
2 green peppers, cut in chunks
1 lg. onion, sliced thin
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce

Pour 1/4 cup of vegetable oil or more on bottom of roasting pan. Sprinkle heavily with grated Parmesan cheese. Layer with ingredients. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, then broil for 5 minutes. Make dish on one day, cool and skim off fat and then reheat.
