ASPARAGUS CONGEALED SALAD 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1 c. water
2 pkg. plain unflavored gelatin
1 c. celery
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. onion, grated
1 med. can asparagus
1 tbsp. chopped pimento

Dissolve sugar, vinegar, and 1 cup water. Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup cold water. Mix the 2 mixtures together. Add the remaining ingredients. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan and let congeal in the refrigerator.

Great recipe! I put a little mayonnaise on top of salad as a dressing. Can't get enough!
