OYSTER PIE 
1/4 lb. saltines, crumbled
1 pt. sm. oysters
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 lb. butter
1 2/3 c. evaporated milk
1/2 milk can of water (or use liquid from oysters, if you prefer)
3 eggs, beaten

Place layer of crackers in casserole. Cover with oysters, sprinkle with salt and pepper, dot with butter. Repeat layers, ending with crackers. Combine milk, water and eggs. Pour over all. Bake at 450 degrees for 30 minutes. 6 servings.
